Accessibility consulting WCAG 2.2 & EAA in Spain
Does your website or e-commerce comply with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and WCAG 2.2?
Expert diagnosis, technical roadmap, and legal compliance. At your pace.
Four reasons why you can't ignore accessibility
Legal: Mandatory under the EAA and European law
The European Accessibility Act (EAA — Directive EU 2019/882) and Law 11/2023 mandate e-commerce, private companies, and digital services to meet WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA minimum. Fines up to 1,000,000 €.
Business: Reach 15% more market
15% of the global population has some disability (WHO). An inaccessible website excludes 15% of your potential audience. That's leaving money on the table every day.
SEO: Google rewards accessible sites
Google crawls your website like a screen reader would. Semantic HTML, adequate contrast, clear structure... everything that improves accessibility also improves SEO. It's not a coincidence.
Reputation: Boost your fame and avoid lawsuits
Domino's Pizza was sued in 2019 for an inaccessible website. The case reached the US Supreme Court. Millions in litigation and reputational damage. Is the risk worth it?

Final accessibility reportLevel A: Basic requirements. Level AA: Recommended standard and required by regulations. Covers most barriers. Level AAA: Maximum level, very hard to achieve across an entire website. Recommendation: Aim for full AA.
Yes. In addition to validating WCAG 2.2 criteria, we analyse colour palettes with the Advanced Perceptual Contrast Algorithm (APCA), planned for WCAG 3.0, which evaluates contrast considering font weight, size and visual perception.
No. The audit is diagnosis + roadmap. I deliver the report with recommendations and code examples. Implementation can be done by your team, or I can do it separately.
No. Automated tools detect only 30-40% of accessibility issues. The rest requires manual review with screen readers, keyboard navigation and expert criteria.
Consulting: I tell you WHAT to do and HOW to do it. Development: I do it directly. Consulting when your team has capacity but needs direction. Development when you have no team or internal capacity.
Yes. Many clients start with a one-off 90-minute session (€150). If you then hire a full audit, I deduct those €150 from the total.
Not yet. I issue a conformance statement and technical validation based on the audit conducted. It carries weight as compliance evidence in tenders, internal audits and technical checks.
The European Accessibility Act (EAA — Directive EU 2019/882, enacted in Spain under Law 11/2023) mandates that starting in 2025 online stores, banking, digital services, and private web platforms must strictly comply with WCAG Level AA accessibility standards. A technical audit certifies legal compliance, prevents fines of up to €1,000,000, and expands your market to all users.
If you sell or provide consumer-facing digital services covered by the EAA (e-commerce, banking, transport, telecoms or e-books, among others), yes: in Spain, Law 11/2023 has required it since 28 June 2025. Service microenterprises (fewer than 10 people and up to €2 million in turnover or balance sheet) are exempt, although complying is still an advantage. We review your specific case in the free consultation.
No. Widgets and overlays add a layer on top of your site, but they don't fix the code: structural, form, focus and screen reader issues are still there. They don't guarantee conformance with WCAG or the EN 301 549 standard, and they sometimes interfere with assistive technologies. Real accessibility is achieved in design and in code.
It depends on how many different templates and flows your site has (not on the total number of pages): a landing page is not the same as an e-commerce site with a checkout. After the free 30-minute consultation I send you a fixed quote, with no surprises.
Yes. Besides auditing, I implement the fixes directly in your site's front end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript and CMS templates) or support your team with code reviews until you reach WCAG 2.2 AA. At the end I re-test to verify everything conforms.
Besides losing customers, you are exposed to penalties. Spain already has precedents: in 2024 the National High Court (Audiencia Nacional) upheld a €90,000 fine against Vueling for failing to meet accessibility requirements on its website. The penalty regime of Spain's General Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities provides for fines of up to €1,000,000.
